The timeline of the campaign, controversy and media coverage surrounding Julien Blanc in November 2014 are outlined below.
November 3, 2014: A petition (see here) was launched against Julien urging The Como Hotel in Melbourne, Australia to cancel appearances by the pick up artist involving his dating seminar.
He can behave this way because he simply doesn’t see women as human beings.
Some of you must have come across the Buzzfeed article published about Julien this week (Written by Mark Di Stefano). Aside from harassing and violating women, we learn that Blanc is also a racist:(Credit: Buzzfeed)I can go on for days and days about how horrible Julien’s behaviour is, but instead, I thought I’d let his work speak for itself.
Real Social Dynanmics (RSD) was the first incorporated company ever to run dating coaching bootcamps. They did not run the first dating bootcamps, however.
The first were run by Mystery (Erik von Markovik) under the brand of Mystery Method before it was incorporated.
Julien has created official bootcamp videos and video tips on You Tube (seminar recordings), spreading his reputation and name throughout the pick up artist community.
The reason we approve photos is for your own safety.
It allows dating for disabled to remove users that have posted photos that are not genuine, and to keep the site “family friendly” by removing unsuitable ones.
I first encountered Julien over the summer when we matched on Tinder. A few weeks go by and my roommate receives the same opening message on Ok Cupid!
Several weeks after that, a friend of mine comes across a screen grab of the exact same message posted on Facebook, but in Hebrew!
It was pretty clear that there was a site where “men” were getting these pick-up lines, so I decided, google Julien’s ridiculous message.
